I’ve been scrolling through Pinterest (as you do on a very lazy Sunday morning in the shade in the garden) gaining so much inspiration from the many images relating to #Japanese #boro and #sashiko stitch. The whole idea of #visiblemending sits well with my need to celebrate imperfection and this in turn, seems necessary in order to enjoy and embrace an honest way of living. The fact that the indigo cloth in its rich, faded or layered forms also entice me is neither here nor there 😉 🙌🏻 I think a trip to @vamuseum in half term may be in order to see examples in the flesh. But if anyone has any other recommendations for places to see #japaneseboro I would be extremely grateful. . . .
